Anton Tukhtariov

Street art,  painting

Mariupol, Ukraine

Anton Tukhtariov is a street artist and an painter from Mariupol. For the last year and a half, he worked as a chemistry and biology teacher in his hometown. It was the time of a pleasant reunion after a long separation, because in 2014 Artem was forced to move out from the front line and begin his studies at the Zaporizhja National University. During these 5 and a half years he worked, did a lot of interesting researches, wrote several scientific papers, published his articles in scientific journals and graduated from the university with a master's degree in ecology, environmental protection and sustainable management of natural resources. Anton was also involved in the creation of small and large plant compositions as space decoration of cultural and recreational institutions.

Although the artist's training was in no way connected with art, craving for street art and graffiti did not leave the young student. Then, in between classes, he often went to pour walls somewhere on the outskirts of the city. His path as an artist began when he was a child. Nature gave him most of his inspiration and perhaps that is why he admired Aivazovsky`s marine landscapes for a particularly long time. At first Anton did not have any materials to visualize his energy flows and synthesize them into something more acceptable for this world. But over time, the artist managed to find expression in abstract paintings and graffiti. Despite the long period of stable and interesting work as a school science teacher, the war took away both his job and his home. Such a dashing twist of fate brought him to Berlin, where Anton again began to pull back to creativity. This is why here he is looking for his new path to realization in the field of art and a way to know a new self under his current difficult experience.
